From dark entrances to cramped bathrooms, here’s how we reimagined key spaces to create a brighter, more functional villa
The villa’s entrance was spacious but felt uninviting. The heavy wooden door blocked natural light, while the dark wrought-iron staircase railings and dated ceiling details added to the gloom. The cream floor tiles looked cheap, with repetitive patterns that made the large hallway feel even less premium.
We installed a new pivot door with glass panels, flooding the hallway with natural light. All stair railings were replaced with sleek tempered glass for a modern, open feel. The ceiling was upgraded with discreet AC grills and modern lighting. For the floors, we overlaid Italian wood-effect porcelain tiles in a natural offset pattern—elevating the look without unnecessary demolition.
Originally boxed in with dark walls and a tiny breakfast counter, the kitchen felt disconnected from the rest of the living spaces. Our team removed all partition walls to create a fully open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area.
The owners chose a bespoke Häcker kitchen with integrated Miele appliances, complemented by Italian flooring. To finish, we added a full-height wall unit with display shelving and storage, creating both a design feature and a practical solution.

Despite being the villa’s primary suite, the original master bathroom was the smallest in the home. Narrow layouts, cheap fittings, and unnecessary walls made it feel dark and unusable.
We reimagined the entire suite: removing wardrobes and walls to create one expansive bathroom. The transformation included a freestanding bath with illuminated niches, a large walk-in shower, a double vanity with tall storage, and new windows for natural light. The once-frustrating layout is now a serene, spa-like retreat.

One of the villa’s covered terraces felt underutilised and disconnected from the rest of the home. By enclosing it, we created a bright and functional TV room that became a true family hub.
The space was seamlessly integrated with matching flooring, upgraded ceilings, and modern lighting, ensuring it felt like part of the original layout. Together with the entrance, kitchen, and master suite transformations, this extension elevated the entire villa to meet the owners’ expectations.

The English family who purchased this villa off-plan were initially disappointed with how dark, cramped, and dated the interiors felt. The entrance lacked the sense of arrival they wanted, the kitchen was closed off and impractical, and the master bathroom felt far too small for a home of this size.
After a four-month renovation, they now enjoy a completely different experience of the villa. Guests are welcomed through a bright, glass-panelled entrance, the open-plan Hacker kitchen has become the family’s social hub, and the master suite has been reimagined as a spacious retreat. The transformation not only met their expectations — it created the home they originally hoped for when they bought into Victory Heights.
